India June 2008

Our trip to India was amazing! Not only because we got engaged but also because it was a place unlike any that I have ever been before. It was a great mixture of colors, people, sounds & smells! It was really beautiful and really dirty at the same time.

I love how the ladies sit side saddle on the motorcycles, but again that doesn't seem very safe and you never see anyone wearing a helmet!

After our visit to Agra we went to a town in the Himalayas called Manali, it was so beautiful.

We went on a hike in the mountains and camped one night. The hike was straight up for hours, it was so hard but well worth it for the view at the top!

At the top there were so many animals grazing, it was amazing! They were not afraid of us at all, they wanted our food.

They served us chai tea all the time, it was great!

A couple of times Indian families stopped me to ask if they could get their picture taken with me, it was hilarious! I think they just wanted a picture with a "typical American"
