Kansas

Kansas
Last month we went to Kansas to visit my family. We had a great time and Joe even got a couple days to go to Southern Missouri to go fishing with Papa and Adam (my best friend Kristi's husband). We checked out some parks for our wedding and I took Joe to Rudy's house where our reception will be.

The beautiful Plaza, I love that area! This is where Lilli lives. She has so many great restaurants, shopping and things to do right at her doorstep.

Rudy's beautiful house

The elephant tusk is taller than Joe and he is 6'3"!

We thought this park would be a really nice place for the ceremony

Practicing the moment

We went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum (one of the best in the country!) and we saw Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso & Renoir-just to name a few. And people try to say that Kansas City is just a cow town!

We visited Kristi's new Kindergarten classroom

I love the tiny chairs, so cute!

Go Jayhawks!!

Little computer work stations, how sweet.

Joe is in his element at school :)

The Paola skyline, ha ha-I love it!

Kristi and Adam just bought a beautiful house, here we are hanging out on the porch

We went out to Kansas City's new Power and Light District, it is awesome!

Erik's friend's new loft condo--so cool, they renovated the old Western Auto building downtown.

Here are some pictures from Joe, Adam and Papa's fishing adventure. They had a great time, I can't believe how blue the water is. I want to go next time! I loved the canoe trips we took in Missouri when we were kids!

Adam caught a big one!
