I.D.'s Celebration of Life

I finally got to be reunited with Joe in Colorado!!--(a very appropriate reunion spot since we will be moving there in a few months. ) I missed my new hubby a lot!

Our whole family went to Colorado to attend a Celebration of Life for I.D. It was a wonderful dinner celebration at the historic Boulderado Hotel. We got to spend a night at I.D.'s beautiful mountain home. It's so nice to spend time there, you can just feel I.D.'s presence there since this was his dream home that took him years to build. We went fishing and rode around on Isaiah's 4 wheeler--it was a great weekend!

Shelly & Clea's Birthday

To celebrate our shared birthday (July 14th!) we went to dinner at McCoy's Public House in KC. It is nice to be home to celebrate with my family. Especially since i'm missing Joe because he is hiking in the mountains right now. I know he is having a great time, I can't wait to see him when he gets back!

Welcome to Kansas!

My mom and I made the journey from California to Kansas. It was a fun road trip, we stayed the first night in Phoenix with my mom's childhood friend, Beth, and the second night in Santa Rosa, NM. We had just one car issue, a blowout on one of the tires of a trailer we used to transport my car. Other than that it was a smooth trip!

Welcome back to Kansas!

Papa even had a welcome home sign for me, so sweet! :)

Wedding Post!

What can we say, our wedding was amazing, like a dream. I don't even know where to begin. As many of you know, it poured rain all day until about an hour before the ceremony and then the clouds parted and we got lovely blue skies. I was so relieved to say the least! We had the most amazing weekend. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends and family for all of their love and support!

We were so lucky to win a contest for an amazing photography package from E. Leigh Photography. Erin and Mat came all the way from New York and we became fast friends. They are awesome and SO talented!
